Fallen Shank Naming Inspiration?Edit
I was kinda wondering where Bungie got the name "Shank" for a Fallen unit. At first, I thought maybe it was a sort of nod to Michael Shanks, who portrayed Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1. Then, when I looked up Shank on wikipedia, I got several hits, but the only possible inspiration would probably be the slang name for a shiv, which is a makeshift knife.
