Consensus factionsEdit
I propose we remove all factions on this page except for the three consensus factions (and perhaps the three mentioned but unjoinable factions), as the rest of this page is really more about reputation, which we already have a page on. The grimoire section on factions makes it pretty clear that these three groups are what the game considers the "real" factions of the game. The new pledging system makes this more explicit, since you can't pledge yourself to anyone else. OmgHAX! (talk) 15:40, 20 August 2015 (EDT)
- I'm not sure there would be much point in keeping the article if we did that. "Faction" is itself a very broad term seemingly used in a very narrow sense in Destiny (the term Faction refers to Consensus member factions only), but I don't think it's fair for us to exclude groups that would qualify as factions in the common usage of the term, especially when those lesser factions usually play a larger role in the story than the Consensus ones. This is an instance where I think it's better to organize things our way than to stay in lock-step with the game. As a compromise, I made the Consensus factions more prominent on the page. I think that best gets the message across that those three are main factions of the game, while allowing us to retain mention of the lesser ones. MorningWalker (talk) 18:44, 29 August 2015 (EDT)
