The name Aphix Conduit implies a connection to the Aphix Invasive from Destiny. A conduit is a channel for conveying water or other fluid, or a person or organization that acts as a channel for the transmission of something. This probably means that the Aphix Invasive passed through here at some point on there way to switch to the new vex frames of the unnamed collective seen in Destiny 2.

When you come into the first area of the lost sector where there are enemies turn to the left and there is small area where you can find the empty shell of a Hezen Corrective goblin, this is most likely because Bungie lacked the time or resources to apply the new textures of Destiny 2 to the Aphix Invasive Goblin model from Destiny 1
