Standard Bearers are a powerful Major class of Loyalist Cabal Centurions that appeared in the Leviathan Raid. Nightmare versions are also encountered during the Duality Dungeon, along with a new Psion variant.

Gameplay

Leviathan

This section needs expansion. You can help Destinypedia by expanding it.

Standard Bearers guard the keys that Guardians need to unlock the doors that lead to different sections of the raid. They must be quickly disposed of to gain access to the door.

Duality

Standard Bearers appear in all three encounters of the Dungeon. In the first encounter, they appear a Loyalist Psions, armed with Cabal Slug Shotguns and with a following of War Beasts. Two appear for each damage phase, in one of the four rooms, and their standards must be deposited to open the doors to the Visions of Gahlran.

In the second encounter, they appear as Red Legion Elite Centurions, who appear after an Honored Colossus has been killed in the respective section. They will drop a standard, but taking the wrong one will shorten your timer instead of increasing it. Their standards must be used in the Waking World to make the Nightmare boss vulnerable.

In the final encounter, they appear as Red Legion Elite Psions, armed with Cabal Headhunters. Two pairs must be killed and their standards deposited to make the Nightmare of Caiatl, Princess-Imperial vulnerable.
