Splinter Mine

A Splinter Mine seen in the Prison of Elders

Splinter Mines are hovering mines used by the Fallen. First introduced in the Prison of Elders, players are required to enter a circular zone to defuse the mine within a certain time limit. Failure to do so will immediately kill all Guardians in the vicinity.

Later they are used by The Mad Bomber and the Kell's Scourge in Niobe's Torment.
