Eramis grew curious of his mindset and continued to let him talk and queried him with questions to test the young Wolf. Should he a fail test, he would lose her interest. Eramis argued that the Great Machine made the [[Eliksni]] strong, but when it abandoned them they were left weaker than before it arrived. She wondered why he sought its power again.
