Optus Psions are chosen Optus ranked Psions exclusive to the Imperial Cabal. The position they place in the Cabal hierarchy is uknown.

Overview

Seen exclusive to Imperial Cabal members, Optus' (Opti) are Psions with the citizenship of Freeborn that have been given the added benefit of a military ranking. Although how high or low the rank of Optus is currently remains unknown, Optus' are above their rank-and-file compatriots and may be very similar to a Bracus. Many Opti take the form of named Commanders, although there also exists an unnamed Optus Psion variant.

An Optus Psion makes a direct appearance in the Battleground Oracle activity when Ixel, the Far-Reaching reaches a third of her health.

They later make another appearance in Season of the Risen, assisting Guardians of The Last City against the Lucent Brood by sending the Guardians into the mindscape of Hive Lightbearers in order to weaken them and detain them for psychic analysis.

Gameplay

Optus Psions are identical to other Psions apart from possessing far greater durability.
