The Nightmare of Navôta, Eir-Spawn is the Nightmare of Navôta, Eir Spawn, a disgraced Hive Wizard that once attempted to unite the lingering Hive Broods in the Cosmodrome. It can be encountered as a final boss of the Nightmare Containment Public Event on board the Derelict Leviathan.[1]

Gameplay

The Nightmare of Navôta can appear every three days as the featured Tier 3 boss of the Nightmare Containment Public Event, which takes place in the Castellum on the Derelict Leviathan.

After the first two tiers of the event have finished, participants must head to the large gates on the side of the area opposite the spawn point. There, you must plant the Nightmare Harvester to begin the final boss encounter, and the Nightmare of Navôta will spawn with several reinforcements. The Nightmare will fight like other Wizards, firing multiple darkness blasts from its hands to attack foes and deploy a cloud of poison to slow and damage any Guardian that gets too close.

After losing a third of her health, the Nightmare of Navôta will become immune and spawn a pair of Dread Bearer Raiders. Killing both of them and dunking the Cores of Dread at the Nightmare Harvester will both allow the Nightmare to be damageable again and provide Scythes to more easily deal with the boss' health. This will be repeated when the Nightmare loses another third of its health. If you are able to defeat the Nightmare of Navôta before the time runs out and the event finishes automatically, you can collect gear from the opulent chest that spawns. You may also spend five-hundred Vestiges of Dread to obtain more powerful loot from the Harvester.
