Nightmare Hunts are activities accessible on the Moon, introduced in the Shadowkeep expansion. Hunts are instructed by Eris Morn to Guardians to defeat the Nightmares of the Guardians' most formidable foes to weaken the Pyramid as much as possible.
Overview
There are a total of 8 Nightmare Hunts, each with their own boss assuming the form of the most potent enemies to Humanity. Each hunt takes the Guardians to different areas throughout Luna, battling Nightmare and Hive forces along the way.
- Despair: Defeat the Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx
- Rage: Defeat the Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul
- Insanity: Defeat the Nightmare of Fikrul, the Fanatic
- Servitude: Defeat the Nightmare of Zydron, Gate Lord
- Pride: Defeat the Nightmare of Skolas, Kell of Kells
- Anguish: Defeat the Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota
- Isolation: Defeat the Nightmare of Taniks, the Scarred
