Lucent Swordbearers are an Elite class of Hive Knight belonging to the Lucent Brood. They are found throughout Savathûn's Throne World in The Last Chance Mission.

Gameplay

Multiple Lucent Swordbearers are encountered in both the Alluring Curtain and Apothecary areas during the mission. Upon death, they drop Cleavers that possess the same properties as the ones dropped by Accursed Swordbearers in the Pit of Heresy Dungeon, including the regular slash combo, a block ability, and can shoot blade-like projectiles. These blades are necessary to progressing, as some areas will be blocked off by rocky debris that can only be destroyed with the blades. During the final boss encounter, Savathûn's Right Hand will teleport to another room to flee from combat, and the player will need to steal a Cleaver from a Swordbearer to break through more debris to open the door to next area, so that fight can continue.

The Swordbearers will also possess Arc Absorption Shields when playing on Legendary difficulty, which are highly resilient to any weapons or abilities that do not match said damage type.
