Tex Mechanica is a weapon foundry B.T.W. He who scouted the frontier of [[Earth]] and became the defender of the refugee village [[Palamon]], and later adopted [[Shin Malphur]] after the boy's first adopted father was killed in [[Dredgen Yor]]'s massacre of the village. Jaren was killed by Yor when he attempted to hunt him down and end the mad [[Guardian]]'s reign of terror.
