Imperial Mechanics are Cabal Colossi that are encountered on Mars in The Arrival Mission. They are deployed to assist in the construction of the Imperial Cabal's anti-air cannon on Mars when Savathûn's ship, the Lure, appears at the newly-returned planet.[1]

GameplayEdit

Two Imperial Mechanics are encountered at the fuel lines of the artillery battery. The first will arrive via Harvesters, accompanied by several Cabal troops. Both of them drop large wrenches upon death; two of which are required to open up the fuel lines of the cannon and prepare it for firing. The second Colossi will be deployed—again, via Harvester—once the first wrench has been placed.

When playing on Legendary difficulty, the two Mechanics will appear as Elite-tier enemies with Arc Absorption Shields, which offer them increased defence against weapons and abilities of different elements.
