The Helium Drinkers are a group of Krill who lived on the titanic Jovian world Fundament.[2][1]
They encountered the Osmium Court as it drifted towards them, and sent raiders after them.[1] Negotiations were one-sided as the Osmium King was growing senile and unable to lead his people;[3] the ambassador ate ten of the King's daughters as "tribute".[1] Taox saw them as her only option of protecting her people, and offered to betray her king in exchange for regency and engines.[3]
The Drinkers were presumably later eradicated by Auryx, Savathûn, and Xivu Arath as part of their oath,[4] or else incorporated into the growing Hive.[5]
