This boss... what is it, apart from a conceptual, theoretical boss for Destiny 2 (fan speculation)? Something you and Sniper Vandal came up with? Dante the Ghost (talk) 22:35, 4 June 2016 (EDT)

I came up with it myself; it's supposed to be another Hive God like Oryx. The thing is, Sniper Vandal and I have been working on some new boss concepts that could possibly be introduced into the next big expansion or the sequel. It's alright if you think this boss sounds overpowered. I'll change some things if you want me to; I was just testing something. Primus Draug'oth (talk) 23:35, June 4 2016 (EST)
I'd remove Weight of Darkness and A Dark Burden as well as Flight, 'cause This is Your End sounds overpowered enough without those that basically disable your passive stats. Retaliation Swarm and Axion Darts sound contradictory to one another, either one could be removed but not both, but then there's that modified Boomer of his, so there's something to think about. Just a few suggestions.
Now, that aside, what place in the lore would Varlak have among the established Hive pantheon? Dante the Ghost (talk) 23:56, 4 June 2016 (EDT)
So I removed Weight of Darkness, A Dark Burden, Flight, Retaliation Swarm, and the Axion Darts. Also, the balancing factors to Varlak's Oversoul are that he can only use this ability every 10-20 minutes, and when he does, he becomes tired for about a minute, giving players the chance to use their ammo synths and damage him, but when reinforcements arrive, he regains his lost energy he used when summoning his Oversoul. Anyway, about the lore...I haven't really come with that yet. I only focused on gameplay mechanics, although at the very least I could say that Varlak is Oryx's brother-in-law. Now that's interesting. Wedded to one of Oryx's sisters, perhaps? Dante the Ghost (talk) 00:52, 5 June 2016 (EDT)
Yes, that's it. Primus Draug'oth (talk) 01:17, 5 June 2016 (EST)
