"The Indomitable. One of few ships designed for one purpose and one purpose only: destruction. Expensive, as it is dishonorable. Nevertheless, it does make for good intimidation."
Dominus Xaruun

The Indomitable is a large Cabal Warship that serves as the mothership of the Neon Wraith fleet. Essentially a ship designed around a massive railgun, it was initially designed to be a planet cracker and was one of three predecessor ships to the Leviathan. It is accessed during the Phantom's Spear Dungeon, where it hosts the first boss encounter and the final encounter.

Overview[edit]

One of three ships designed as a precursor to what would soon be the Leviathan, the Indomitable would be the only one left in service by the time of the Red War and would be pulled in as a contingency for Ghaul's plan and assault on Earth if in the event the Almighty was sabotaged. However, during Primus Xaruun's mutiny and creation of the Neon Wraiths, the ship would instead be seized by his loyalists, chiefly Valus Karusk, and would be granted the additional purpose of serving as their base of operations and spearheading their weapons development and research.

During the Season of Strife, the ship would be held back in reserves while the Wraiths occupied the system and would, instead, serve more of a carrier role, serving as a halfway refueling ship for their forces in the system and the ships they held on their bases on Callisto and Oberon. After mounting losses, however, even in spite of Xaruun's orders, the ship's crew would plan to destroy Earth with the ship, first testing the weapon on the moon of Titania before beginning their journey to Earth. However, after the Imperial Cabal intercepted communications from the ship, Caiatl would give the Vanguard the intelligence as a gesture of good faith. Following this, the Vanguard would mount an operation against the ship, where the Guardian(s) would enter the ship, sabotage its systems, kill its mutinying commander and send the ship plummeting to the shattered moon's surface.
