The Discharged is a group of decommissioned Cabal soldiers and some Cabal Traitors put off duty by the Cabal High Command for their lack of skill in battle. They come from all backgrounds, ranging from the Sand Eaters all the way up to the Red Legion. Discharged Cabal soldiers are known for their poor tactical decisions, such as mindlessly claiming territory in several plot points in the Solar System and forgetting to employ even the most basic combat strategies.

Overview

Unique Forces

Discharged Cabal soldiers wear extremely heavy armor composed of a mixture of metal alloys, granting them significantly increased health, immunity to precision damage, and massive resistance to debuffs and staggering effects. However, the sheer mass of their armor prevents them from using their thrusters, thus limiting their mobility. They will state whenever they're about to attack or perform a special action if they have one, like throwing a grenade or launching a special attack.

In addition, they have modified their weapons to be fully automatic, making it so that they never stop firing at all. As a result of this modification, their weapons frequently experience variations in damage, fire rate, accuracy, velocity, and trajectory; this also might cause their weapon to become jammed for a short time. Their weapons also have different frames as well, which gives them varied properties.

They never move around while firing their weapons, and do not have melee attacks, with the notable exception of the Phalanx and Gladiator units. Elemental shield systems are much more resilient, but do not regenerate unless depleted, and take longer to restore their durability. Each soldier is assigned a role based on their original legion, infantry type, and most recent official rank.

Broken Legion Division

  • Broken Psion: Armed with a Lightweight Slug Rifle that grants increased movement speed. Fires a blinding Arc psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Broken Legionary: Armed with an Adaptive Slug Rifle that grants balanced performance. Throws a Frag Grenade that bounces in random directions.
  • Broken Phalanx: Armed with an Adaptive Slug Rifle that grants balanced performance. Uses a Cabal Shield to block incoming attacks.
  • Broken Centurion: Armed with an Adaptive Projection Rifle that grants balanced performance. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag Grenade that bounces in random directions for an extended period of time.

Sand Eaters Division

  • Sand Psion: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Slug Rifle that grants increased fire rate. Fires a shocking Arc psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Sand Legionary: Armed with a High-Impact Slug Rifle that grants increased damage. Throws a Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions.
  • Sand Phalanx: Armed with a High-Impact Slug Rifle that grants increased damage. Uses a Cabal Shield to block and parry incoming attacks.
  • Sand Centurion: Armed with an Aggressive-Frame Projection Rifle that grants increased blast radius. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag Grenade that bounces in random directions for an extended period of time.

Dust Giants Division

  • Dust Psion: Armed with a Lightweight Slug Rifle that grants increased movement speed. Fires a slowing Arc psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Dust Legionary: Armed with a Precision Slug Rifle that grants increased accuracy and velocity. Throws a Frag Grenade that bounces in random directions and explodes twice.
  • Dust Phalanx: Armed with a Precision Slug Rifle that grants increased accuracy and velocity. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, and deflect incoming attacks.
  • Dust Centurion:: Armed with a High-Impact Projection Rifle that grants increased blast damage. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag Grenade that bounces in random directions for an extended period of time and explodes twice.
  • Dust Colossus: Armed with an Adaptive Heavy Slug Thrower that grants balanced performance. Fires Adaptive Missile Swarms that grant balanced performance.

Blind Legion Division

  • Blind Psion: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Slug Rifle that grants increased fire rate. Fires a burning Solar psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Blind Legionary: Armed with an Aggressive-Frame Slug Rifle that grants greatly increased damage and reduces accuracy. Throws a Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions and explodes twice.
  • Blind Phalanx: Armed with a High-Impact Slug Rifle that grants increased damage. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, deflect, and punt incoming attacks.
  • Blind Centurion: Armed with a Precision Projection Rifle that grants seeking explosives. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions for an extended period of time and explodes twice.
  • Blind Colossus: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Heavy Slug Thrower that grants increased fire rate. Fires Precision Missile Swarms that grant more aggressive seeking patterns.

Siege Dancers Division

  • Siege Psion: Armed with a Lightweight Slug Rifle that grants increased movement speed. Fires a sundering Solar psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Siege Legionary: Armed with a Precision Slug Rifle that grants increased accuracy and velocity. Throws a Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions and explodes three times.
  • Siege Phalanx: Armed with an Aggressive-Frame Slug Rifle that grants greatly increased damage and reduces accuracy. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, deflect, punt, and redirect incoming attacks.
  • Siege Centurion: Armed with an Aggressive-Frame Projection Rifle that grants increased blast radius. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random direction for an extended period and explodes three times.
  • Siege Colossus: Armed with a Precision Heavy Slug Thrower that grants increased accuracy and velocity. Fires Aggressive-Frame Missile Swarms that gain greatly increased blast radius.

Skyburners Division

  • Burner Psion: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Slug Rifle that grants increased fire rate. Fires a reddening Solar psionic blast that travels in random directions.
  • Burner Legionary: Armed with a Precision Slug Rifle that grants increased accuracy and velocity. Throws a Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions for an extended period of time and causes targets to stagger upon detonation.
  • Burner Phalanx: Armed with a High-Impact Slug Rifle that grants increased damage. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, deflect, punt, redirect, and bash incoming attacks.
  • Burner Centurion: Armed with a Precision Projection Rifle that grants seeking explosives. Protected by a Solar shield. Throws an enhanced Frag Grenade that rapidly bounces in random directions for an extended period of time, explodes three times, and causes targets to stagger upon detonation.
  • Burner Colossus: Armed with an Aggressive-Frame Heavy Slug Thrower that grants greatly increased damage and reduces accuracy. Fires High-Impact Missile Swarms that gain greatly increased blast damage.

Red Legion Division

  • Red War Beast: Attacks by biting with its teeth and can latch on to its target to keep biting. Sustained bites cause bleeding. Protected by head armor that blocks all frontal damage.
  • Red Psion: Armed with a Lightweight Rapid-Fire Slug Rifle that grants increased movement speed and faster fire rate. Attacks with a Cabal Headhunter for long range. Fires a suppressive Void psionic blast that travels in random directions and ricochets off hard surfaces.
  • Red Legionary: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Precision Slug Rifle that grants increased fire rate, accuracy, and velocity. Throws a Frag Grenade that indefinitely bounces on hard surfaces and immediately detonates upon impact with a target to cause them to heavily stumble.
  • Red Phalanx: Armed with a Precision High-Impact Slug Rifle that grants increased fire rate and damage. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, deflect, punt, redirect, bash, and ram incoming attacks; rammed targets are knocked prone for a short time.
  • Red Incendior: Armed with a Rapid-Fire Aggressive-Frame Cabal Magma Launcher that grants increased fire rate and greatly increased damage with reduced accuracy. Throws Incendiary Grenades that bounce indefinitely on hard surfaces.
  • Red Gladiator: Armed with a Cabal Severus blade that causes slight burning effects. Uses a Cabal Shield to block, parry, deflect, punt, redirect, bash, shove, and ram incoming attacks; rammed targets and knocked prone and disarmed for a short time.
  • Red Centurion: Armed with a Precision Aggressive-Frame Cabal Bronto Cannon that grants seeking projectiles and increased blast radius. Throws a Mayhem Grenade that bounces indefinitely on hard surfaces, immediately detonates upon impact with a target, and causes heavy stumbling and burning effects upon detonation.
  • Red Colossus: Armed with a Rapid-Fire High-Impact Cabal Slug Launcher that grants increased fire rate and damage. Fires High-Impact Aggressive-Frame Cabal Cluster Missiles that grant greatly increased blast radius and explosion damage.
  • Red Thresher Armed with Rapid-Fire High-Impact Solar Missiles(some times void for Majors or arc for ultras) That grants Increased fire rate and damage. Fires Tear gas Flares That Can Blind enemies.
  • Red Scorpius Armed With High-Impact Exploding Rounds that Grants Incredibly Damage But Have A Big Weakness Which it can Overheat which makes it a Easy Target
