The Season of the Nexus is the twenty-first season of Destiny 2 and the successive seasonal content for Paradox after the Season of the Black Swordsman. It started on December 6th. The story will consist of The Guardian returning to the heart of the Infinite Forest on Mercury to assist Osiris and Saint-14 in stopping the Vex from awakening Panoptes's daughter. This season features the appearances of Mi Liu and Anji, blood-fused Guardians who had inadvertently shattered the time barrier and fractured the reality of the Infinite Forest.

Description

With the Traveler and the Darkness reunited once more after the destruction of the Fallen invasion, Osiris and Saint-14 call upon you to face a new Vex threat: Mydesa, who has now brought her army of Blood Collectives and Animatronics into our world, seeking to free her father Panoptes from his grave and bring on the beginning of a new dark future. Descend into the Infinite Forest and discover mysterious truths. Form an alliance with Mi Liu and Anji Zo to bring an end to Mydesa's diabolical endgame and stop the Vex from manipulating both time and space.
