So, We all know about the new classes:

Pose as a team because SHIT JUST GOT REAL

And I was wondering if any of you have thought about what class you'll be. Ok, you've all definitely thought about that. You wouldn't be here if you didn't. So yeah, post what class you like. I 'm thinking about hunter and warlock, but a bit more hunter. It looks like you can do multiple characters so I think I'll have at least one of both. I like Hunter cause, well, in general I like stealth and range, and Warlock seems like it will have some good ranged attacks, and maybe some DoT. Both seem pretty strategic, and that's something I like. If the classes turn out to be unbalanced I guess I'll go with whatever is best, but for now I like those two. I'm liking Warlock at the moment. I always like Mage-like characters. Though I'm erring on the side of Hunter as well, I might like it's stealth-like abilities. :D --TentacleTornado 11:10, 18 February 2013 (EST)
Maybe we should out up what armor abilities we use as well? might be interesting to see if there's a pattern. CraZboy557 (talk) 11:18, 18 February 2013 (EST)
xD I just realised how similar they are. But armour abilities? I've not seen everything yet. Do you mean like "magic" use? :P --TentacleTornado 11:46, 18 February 2013 (EST)
No, what armor abilities we use in Reach or 4. I mean, it seems likely to me we'd see some trends. Soe of them will be rather predictable, like how I use active camo in Reach, and am planning on being a Hunter. This is craZboy557, signing off. 12:09, 18 February 2013 (EST)

<Reset indent> xD Oh, dear, I didn't think of that. Evade or Hologram in Reach, and Active Camo in 4. So I guess there is a parallel to the types of Guardian I will use. --TentacleTornado 12:13, 18 February 2013 (EST)

I wonder how many people are going with Titan. I mean, it would seem like there would be a good few people who would go with brute force, but I think that people feel like that makes them seem stupid, and go with one that seems more complicated. Quite a lot, I would think. As many as people who played as a Soldier in ME, or (a bit controversial here xD) as Spartans in Halo. The more simple, brute force-type characters appeal to the more casual gamer. :P --TentacleTornado 12:30, 18 February 2013 (EST)
Heh, I guess it's just me then. Still, I sorta think that they should make the Titan be less tank and more all around fighter. That's what I think Spartans are like. This is craZboy557, signing off. 12:54, 18 February 2013 (EST)
I personally would go with the Titan, seeing as I'm a huge Halo fan, and while brute force is usually what I go with, who knows, the Titan might have some tactical abilites as well. We'll jsut have to wait and see. Siphon117 (talk) 13:10, 22 February 2013 (EST)
So what armor ability do you use? Always use the DMR. This is craZboy557, signing off. 14:21, 22 February 2013 (EST)
Me, I usually use the Jetpack in Reach, and in 4. Although, in 4 I also alternate between thruster pack and Invisibility(seeing as Reach's invisibility is almost unplayable). But, for the most part I almost always use Jetpack, even when I don't need it. Siphon117 (talk) 13:24, 24 February 2013 (EST)
Makes sense to me. Jetpack is a sort of an in the thick of it armor ability, and theoretically titan would excel in that postition. Oh, and I have to ask, what do you find unplayable about Reach invisibility? Always use the DMR. This is craZboy557, signing off. 16:42, 24 February 2013 (EST)
The reason I find the invisibility AA nearly unplayable in Reach is because when your using it, anyone nearby will no your using it. Also, the moment you MOVE an inch, you start to become visible. If it was only the Spartan invisibility that did that, it would be understandable, because it would be experimental tech, but the fact that even moving barely a foot slowly reveals your position. I still use it when sniping, but that's the only time I do so in Reach. In 4, it works almost flawlessly, because you can crouch walk and still stay. The motion disruption isn't as noticeable as in Reach as well, making it overall better in 4 then in Reach. Now weapon wise for the Titan, I expect weapons like the usual assault rifles, handguns, shotguns, and possible rocket launchers, and other heavy weapons. Seeing as the Titan uses a power suit, I would expect that kind of armament. Siphon117 (talk) 00:54, 25 February 2013 (EST)

I'm gonna have to wait until I give a better opinion. There is so little we know about the game and I'm sure we'll see a lot during E3. --JoshuaGregory (talk) 01:07, 25 February 2013 (EST)

Well I believe we shouldnt compare this game to Halo YET. (And certainly not start an AA debate... here), but about the classes... there MIGHT be more, allthough we dont know any of that yet, we might get a glimpse at E3 :) Im liking the Hunter because im more of a tactical, fast type, but im really liking the warlock too. He seems like a good mix of magic, technology, and just the right amount of power. He looks balanced. Posted by MReyesG
