Arthroship Toxikor-Syn is the House of Arthropods' Ketch and the personal flagship of Zanthraks, Kell of Arthropods. It is an abnormally large Ketch that blocks the skies above Mumbai Push. Protected by a vast internal surveillance network and some of the House's most elite soldiers, it is a treacherous vessel to board and the Vanguard advises that all Guardians approach with extreme caution.

Hazards[edit]

The same hazards that are deployed in Arthropod's Den are aboard this Ketch, but they appear in greater frequencies and densities here, making navigation of the ship a more dangerous affair. Additionally, the ship's corridors are protected by lines of Arthropod Fallen positioned by their rank as well as a vast surveillance network consisting of targeting sensors, searchlight drones, emergency flares, and laser barriers. When a targeting sensor is activated, it will deploy a searchlight drone that will seek out potential targets. If a target has been spotted, then the targeting sensor will immediately point its laser at it, and emergency flares will go off, blinding the target and putting the Fallen on high alert. An alarm will sound and the area will enter a state of lockdown. Throughout the corridor, laser barriers will appear. Any target that enters them will be knocked down and rapidly burned to death. The area will no longer be on lockdown when all security measures are destroyed.

Points of Interest[edit]

In the heart of the ship lies the Scorpion's Venom arena, which punishes trespassers and tests their might, survival skills, and cunning in a deathmatch with puzzle elements, hectic combat, and unique boss encounters in an endgame Arena-type Public Event. There will be nine waves, each split into three sets. Each set of waves has its own set of objectives. At the end of nine waves, there will be a giant Scolopendrid boss to kill before the event is over.

  • For the first set, the combat objective will send out multiple swarms of the common robotic units. As the wave progresses, enemies will become more aggressive, numerous, and smarter, and the fighting space will get smaller over time. The puzzle objective consists of shorting out poison vents that will appear on the sides of the arena. These vents are shielded and can only be broken by a thrown Arthropod Charge, which can only be obtained by Elite Arthropod Fallen combatants. The boss objective might consist of either a Mite Swarm, Poisoned Millipede, Rushdown Centipede, or an Engorged Tick.
  • For the second set, the combat objective will send out multiple swarms of the less common standard Arthropod Fallen units. As the wave progresses, enemies will become faster, more aggressive, more numerous, and smarter, and the fighting space will get smaller at a faster rate than the first set. The puzzle objective consists of defusing a large mine before it detonates. In order to detonate the mine, matching plugs must be inserted into the holes of the mine. These plugs can only be obtained by Major Arthropod Fallen combatants. The boss objective will consist of either a Funnelweb Spider, Splicer Pantopod, Barbtail Scorpion, or a Venomous Yellowjacket.
  • For the third set, the combat objective will send out multiple swarms of the rare heavy hitter Arthropod Fallen units. As the wave progresses, enemies will become more erratic, faster, more aggressive, more numerous, and smarter, and the fighting space will get smaller at a faster rate than the second set. The puzzle objective will consist of shutting down an active forge being deployed on the field before it produces a Morph Cannon for the Fallen to use. The forge can only be gaining the maximum stacks of the "Forge Warden" buff, which can only be obtained by picking up shielding drones from Ultra Arthropod Fallen combatants. The boss objective will consist of either a Lightning Mymercian, Hardened Harvestman, Corrosive Vinegaroon, or an Enraged Hornet.
