What are Administrators?
Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, administrators are trusted users that have access a few additional functions.
- Deleting and undeleting pages, uploaded images and page histories.
- Protecting a page so it can not be edited or moved by anonymous users (autoconfirmed protection) or non-admins (full/sysop protection).
- Blocking IP addresses or user names from editing; and quick reversion ("rollback") of undesirable edits.
- Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins (editing MediaWiki files).
- Viewing a user's IP addresses and other information.
- Mark page revisions or users' edits as "patrolled".
- Edit other users' social profiles, such as removing offensive content.
These functions are solely for housekeeping for keeping Destinypedia nice and tidy. The community does look to administrators to perform the essential chores that require the extra access administrators are entrusted with. However, otherwise, administrators are the same as other users, and are expected to be well-tempered in all respects.
What can Administrators not do?
Administrators should not use their administrator powers to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version they prefer in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith. Administrators should not be considered "in charge". The ideal admin is a regular user who is trusted to have a few extra buttons and to use them for the benefit of Destinypedia.
Can I become an Administrator?

Currently, administrators are selected on an as-needed basis only. As Destinypedia grows, more administrators will be needed to assist in its operation. Once Destinypedia reaches significant size and activity, new administrators will then be selected via a Request for Adminship.
What are Bureaucrats?

A bureaucrat is simply an administrator that is granted a few extra tools, such as assigning or revoking user rights and renaming user accounts. Typically, bureaucrats are the most senior admins, but this is not always the case.

Hello Guardian, welcome to the Archives! I am Arcmind, an admin of this wiki. I signed up here on June 14th, 2016 after joining Halopedia months before. Seeing things that needed doing on this site I decided to try and help out, and here I am. :)
I usually focus on lore oriented work and proper page formatting, but should another Guardian need help in their endeavors, I would not hesitate to lend a hand. Should you need any help editing, or have any questions, I would be glad to help out in any way I can. You can contact me on my talk page or message board and I will try to get back to you ASAP.

Titans; who doesn't love to punch everything? And also lore itself; funny, you'd think I'd be a Warlock but no, Titans and knowledge should go hand in hand.

About me
I'm MorningWalker, a Destinypedia member since July 27, 2014. I've been following and playing Destiny off and on since its beta. My main interest around here is keeping things sorted out, tidy, and accurate, with an emphasis on lore-centric articles. I also patrol the RC when I have the time. I tend to be most active at Destinypedia when there's heaps of fresh content to dig through and new sights to see in the games and expansions.
Favorite thing about Destiny.
The lore, especially the Grimoire.

About me
I joined Destinypedia in February 2013 shortly after Bungie's public reveal of Destiny. I was an admin for a short time in 2014 before resigning, only to return and become an admin again in October 2016. Please use either my talk page or message board to contact me and I will respond as soon as I can. I have a bot account, Spartabot, which I use to clean up categories and perform other tasks. I currently manage this wiki's Discord server, so if you have any queries be sure to ask me.

About me
Hello, I'm Primus Draug'oth. I've been a member since March 13, 2016, and I think it's fair to call me the Rancor of the group: a valuable, albeit trigger-happy protector. My main focus is on gameplay mechanics and presenting information as it is displayed in-game. If you need anything of that sort clarified, feel free to reach out to me.
Favorite thing about Destiny.
I've always loved the art design, the music, the gunplay: the look and feel of the game has always pleased me. I am also a member of the Titan master race. This series needs a better developer and publisher, though, given the state Destiny 2 is in right now.

Former Admins
Inactivity and resignation procedures
Admins who are inactive (defined as making no mainspace edits for a period of three months or more) will automatically have their sysop rights lapsed and be made a Patroller. A notice of this action should be given to the said user on their talk page. Should the former admin return to sustained activity within six months of their last edit, their rights shall be restored as they were previously upon request. If the user returns to activity after this period has passed, they must request their rights back with a Request for Adminship (RfA).
Admins who resign their sysop rights will be formally granted patroller status. If a resigned admin returns within six months of resigning and desires to have their rights back, they should be granted as such. Should they want their rights back after the six month period has passed, the user will have to make a formal request with an RfA.
