Trivia

  • The weapon is based on the BR55 battle rifle of Bungie's previous Halo series.
    • The icon for the Legacy PR-55 Frame is visually similar to the logo of Misriah Armory, the manufacturer of the battle rifle. The effects of the frame additionally refer to the lack of hip fire penalties in Halo games, as most do not have any sort of aim-down-sights mechanic for the majority of weapons.
    • The name BxR and the Blunt Execution Rounds trait unique to the weapon are references to the BxR button combo present in Halo 2 and Halo 3, which allowed players to melee then immediately fire their weapon; done correctly, it will instantly kill an opponent.
