Austringer is a Legendary Hand Cannon that is acquired from the Derelict Leviathan. It is a highly modified version of the Hand Cannon Eyasluna.

1st Perk Slot
- Outlaw: Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
- Subsistence: Kills partially reload the magazine from reserves, but reserve capacity is reduced.
- Triple Tap: Rapidly landing precision hits will return 1 round to the magazine.
- Eye of the Storm: This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.

2nd Perk Slot
- Rangefinder: Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification. Increased projectile velocity while aiming Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers.
- Demolitionist: Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks 3x.
- Opening Shot: Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.

Austringer’s name is a reference to its predecessor, Eyasluna.
- Eyasluna is Latin for the phrase “Young Hawk”. An Austringer is a keeper of hawks.
