The Anomaly, as it is referred to by the scholars of the Tower, is an artifact of extraterrestrial origin located on the Moon. It was first discovered during the Golden Age, when lunar miners accidentally broke into its chamber with a borer . The research site known as K1 was subsequently built to study the Anomaly.
