Albios was a Warlock whose life was covered in a text called The Five Lives of Albios.
BiographyEdit
According to The Five Lives of Albios, the Warlock ventured into a swamp on Venus carrying only a single lantern during his fourth life.[1] During his time in the swamp he lived beneath the shade of a willow tree because the swamp had consumed everything else there. In his fifth life the Ahamkara called Taranis spoke to Albios, but by then, Albios wished for nothing, so Taranis could not help him.[2][3] At some point, Albios died fighting a final stand, and the Warlocks crafted a bond called The Five Lives of Albios to honor him.[4] His funeral was subsequently held on Io due to the moon being sacred to Warlocks. Among those who attended the funeral were Cayde-6 and Banshee-44, who became bored during the long ceremony and made a bet that resulted in Cayde breaking his legs by jumping from a mesa.[5]
