Aesop
Aesop, the Sovereign is a Vex Axis Mind mentioned in a Neomuni children's rhyme. According to the rhyme, Aesop came to the ancestors of the Neomuni and offered them respite from the Vex, who had been covertly plaguing the nascent CloudArk with viruses, in exchange for their loyalty and servitude and to consider Aesop the Neomuni's King. The colonists refused, and Aesop severed the connection of the colonists' children to the CloudArk in retaliation, killing them. Aesop threatened to return one day, and the Neomuni have remained vigilant ever since, constantly increasing the defences of the CloudArk in preparation to fight Aesop off.[1]
