Aphix Invasive: Difference between revisions

The Aphix Invasive reside in the [[Vault of Glass (location)|Vault]] and have been spotted in the [[Freehold]] on [[Mars]]. They appear to be a security force, tasked with protecting Vex projects and Axis Mind's. When a fireteam led by [[the Guardian]] infiltrated the Vault of Glass, the Aphix Invasive would attempt to defend the stronghold. Despite their best efforts they failed, and the Vault's Axis Mind, [[Atheon, Time's Conflux]] would be destroyed. Later [[Qodron, Gate Lord]] and it's forces would launch an attack in the [[Prison of Elders]], after foreseeing a glorious future which can be achieved by killing a “Light” (possibly a [[Guardian]]). The Prison's Warden, [[Variks, the Loyal]] would call for the assistance of the Guardian, who would bring an end to their onslaught.

Little is known about the Aphix Invasive as units of this type are rarely encountered by Guardian forces. Units of this collective include [[Fanatic]]s and [[Supplicant]]s, both of which can be found in the Vault of Glass before they became the main forces on other coĺlectives. The collective also includes several Axis [[Minotaur]]s who also appear in [[Public Event]]s, with one such Minotaur appearing in [[The Nexus]] [[Strike]]. *Considering the Aphix Invasive's presence in the Vault of Glass alongside that of the Vex Gate Lord Qodron, it can be inferred that they are a sort of security force, defending high level Vex leaders and structures that would otherwise be left to members of the [[Hezen Protective]].
