Bor'gong is one of the two rotating bosses of The Wellspring: Attack. They can be found in the final area, kneeling in the center of the room whilst protected by an immunity shield. After all of the other objectives have been completed, three crystals will appear around the Warden. Once they have been destroyed, the boss fight will commence, and large hordes of Lucent Hive will rush to assist them. Bor'gong will bombard the fireteam with projectiles from their Boomer, which will kill you quickly if you do not find cover. They are also capable of casting clouds of poisonous smoke to temporarily deny their enemies parts of the area, and can slam the ground with their fist to create large, lingering pools of fire, which can knock players back whilst causing significant damage. In the final phase of the fight, the Knight will gain the ability to enter Berserk Mode, and they will charge at a random player to try and slam them with their Boomer. Small groups of Thrall will frequently come to aid it, and much larger hordes of combatants when it sustains significant damage.

After losing a quarter of their health, the Warden will summon an immunity shield and call upon more reinforcements. Players must kill a Butcher of the Spring to take their Void Charge and deposit it in the Wellspring to disable the boss's shield and continue damaging them. Bor'gong will do this three times throughout the fight, and the amount of Butchers that must be killed and charges that need to be deposited will increase by one each time. After their third shield has been disabled, the Warden will be completely vulnerable, and the fireteam is free to finish them off.
