-Years after his death, Ecthar would be resurrected by [[Savathûn, the Witch Queen]] and her [[Lucent Brood]] as a [[Lightbearer Knight]]. After Savathûn's death, Ecthar, alongside [[Vorlog]] and [[Šimmumah ur-Nokru]], would go on to begin a quest to find and resurrect Oryx's lost body within the depths of [[Titan (moon)|Titan]] as a lightbearer via a [[Ghost]] and hive necromancy. Ecthar then would intercept a fireteam of [[Guardian]]s seeking to stop this ritual early in their mission, but would fail to do more than stall them and would be returned to the grave alongside his Ghost.
