Memory of Vel Tarlowe

From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki

"I did not want to ask Vell to join our fireteam-I knew he would say yes. But he found out… and volunteered."
— Eris [1]

The memory of Vell Tarlowe is a quest introduced in Shadowkeep following the completion of it’s main storyline. It is part of the Luna's Calling quest line involving Eris Morn and the memories of her fireteam haunting her as Nightmares.

Quest[edit]

"I am the line. Evil will go no farther than this"
— Vell Tarlowe

In the first step the player is required to:

  • Complete the currently active Re-playable story mission on the Moon

In the second step the player needs to:

  • Defeat powerful combatants using melee attacks to retrieve the 25 fragments for Vell Tarlowe’s Titan Mark. Ability kills and Nightmares grant the most progress.

Once the step is completed, the player will have to take the portal in Sanctuary to meet up with Eris Morn. After a short cutscene with Eris and her nightmare, you hand her the Titan Mark which she uses to find peace and banish Vell Tarlowe
