It can be obtained from [[Xûr, Agent of the Nine]] or as a random drop from an [[Exotic]] primary engram. Because of its incredibly niche role in [[Destiny]], it is widely considered to be one of, if not the most useless [[exotic]] weapon in [[Destiny]] because of both this and the amount of time required to become familiar and comfortable with how the weapon handles, some of it having to do with the entire ironsights moving with the player when strafing and aiming down the sights, which is not seen on any other [[Sniper Rifle]]. However, there are some people who prefer the ironsights of the No Land Beyond and use it in competitive modes such as the [[Trials of Osiris]] and do very well with it due to being motivated by the challenge.
