Shadowrift

Shadowrifts are Hive transport circles used by the Grasp of Nokris to assault Rasputin during the Escalation Protocol. One was employed by the Hive of the Cosmodrome to summon in support.
Gameplay[edit]
Naturally, Shadowrifts appear in every second part of each wave in Escalation Protocol apart from the seventh wave. They are used as a means to transport Hive into the area and must be disabled in order to progress. Guardians must stand in the center of the Shadowrift in order to disable it while Hive Acolytes spawn in the center as well. Once they have stood in the circle for a while, the crystals sustaining the Shadowrifts will become vulnerable and upon destroying them will summon a Severing Knight. In later stages of Escalation Protocol, more Shadowrifts will spawn.
