The Chalice of Light is an artifact found at the end of the Crota's End Raid.
Gameplay[edit]
The Chalice is used to counter the "Presence of Crota" debuff that prevents Guardians from regenerating health while fighting Crota, Son of Oryx. The Relic can only be held by one Guardian at a time, and can be exchanged among the members of a fireteam by taking it from the current wielder.[1]
The Chalice of Light is unavailable during the Hard-difficulty version of Crota's End, but returns for the 390 Light version as part of the Age of Triumph.[2]
Trivia[edit]
The Origins and purpose of the Chalice are a mystery. A popular theory is the Chalice is made up of Light stolen by Crota during The Great Disaster.
